A son–what a blessing! The girls are so excited to have a brother. Mommy is doing well. It was really an easy labor even though I did have to be induced because of a return of toxemia symptoms. Daniel is having troubles catching on to the concept of eating, so we are here at the hospital until he gets a good meal. We are so very grateful for all your prayers…

Sons are such gifts, and so very different from girls, as you’ll discover. The Lord has been so good to you! Praying little Daniel learns to latch and eat well. And that you are able to remain peaceful – I know from experience it can be stressful watching their weight drop.
I will keep you and yours in prayer this evening. So very happy for you all!
Welcome Daniel Merritt! You have quite the legacy in your name. Daniel was a faithful man who loved the Lord, above all things – even his own life. We will pray this evening that it may be so in you, as well.
