Announcing…the grand opening of a skin care line founded by two sisters who are different as can be, even down to their skincare needs! Moody Sisters Organic Skin Care caters to “moody” skin. Moisturizers and cleansers designed for sensitive and troubled skin. Free of chemicals and preservatives, these are not only 100% organic and environmentally “green”, but vegan products as well!
I got to try out the Intense Moisturizing Cream, which is a great example of the kind of hydration that Moody Sisters Organic Skin Care provides. The cream instantly melts into your skin. It kept my heels soft all day. And it’s also perfect for my knuckles and cuticles—or for bedtime use on my hands. As someone who has suffered from dry skin and eczema for years, I know a good lotion or cream when I use it: and Moody Sisters passes the test!
Another product I can’t wait to try is the paraben free Powdered Deodorant! It sounds like a great alternative to the icky ingredients in most deodorants available in the stores.
It’s always exciting to see how other young moms find a way to stay home with their little ones while contributing to the family income. But the Moody Sisters’ business is extra-special to me because my husband and Whitney’s husband are cousins.
To see all the great items these sisters have put together, check out the Moody Sisters Etsy Shop or visit their Facebook Page. Be sure to “heart” their shop and “like” their page in order to help them celebrate the launch of their product line on November 5!
In honor of their grand opening, the Moody Sisters are giving away a $5 gift certificate to four lucky Pink House readers!

Oooh…these look like great products! I definitely want to try the Intense Moisturizing Cream too…
Ah, yes! Since taking a peek at the FB page the other day, I’m wanting to try this out, for sure!
Aand tweeted, just for good measure.
I just love natural skin care products! I will definitely check out the Etsy shop!
Sounds great! My hands are currently super dry from pottery!
Everly
I’m definitely on the lookout for natural deodorant that works, as well as good lotion since we live in a dry area now!
I would love to try some really good lotion. My hands get really dry when the weather starts getting colder.
I mentioned it on Facebook!
I also tweeted about it.
sounds wonderful!
You mentioned eczema…is this cream really good for that? My mom has had really bad eczema for years, and tried all kinds of doctor prescribed creams. Nothing worked, till she found Aquatain lotion in London Drugs. But last year they completely stopped making it and now she’s back to square one
If this cream works, it would be amazing!
Honestly, Lois, I don’t have eczema symptoms any more–moving to a drier climate actually cleared them up, strangely enough. So I have not actually tried it on eczema–I’ve just tried enough lotions through the years in pursuit of an eczema solution, that I feel like I’ve tried a lot of lotions!
One of the sisters has struggled with dermatitis, so she’s certainly geared these lotions toward definite skin problems: http://www.facebook.com/moodysisters#!/note.php?note_id=165066476842050. I hope you win so you can try some for your mom!
Lois- This would be good for extremely dry skin and ezcema spots on the body. I would suggest our hydrating face lotion for the face which has a ton of herbal extracts specifically for healing ezcema. We can always customized our cleanser and lotions if there is something she needs added to combat it. Good luck!
I checked out their Etsy shop and want to try out their powdered deodorant!
I’m always looking for new natural skin care products!

So commenting.
Looks like a wonderful product! Thanks to Jaclynn for referral.
It’s great to hear about a company that has quality products without all those nasty ingredients (i.e. Parabens, etc.) I’d love a chance to win a gift certificate to their new store! Thanks!
These sound wonderful! A girl in my choir is severely allergic to most store-bought lotions because of the scents and such, so this would be so nice!
I am currently on the hunt for a good, more natural moisturuzer to combat our kerosene heat and would love to try this (I may have to even if I don’t win)!
I tweeted about the giveaway @Living4Jesus69
